Laser cutting is performed on the most modern machines from the leading world producers, both with solid-state lasers and CO2 lasers. Advantage of the solid-state laser is the possibility of rapid burning of material, using nitrogen shielding gas that does not leave any scales on the cut, which would be undesirable for subsequent surface treatment. CO2 lasers are very flexible for use with materials of various types and thickness. The laser processes are stable, powerful, and splatter-free.
